Basic lighting for a good business-portrait! [incl. lighting diagram]

Today I had a shoot with Peter van Ek who needed new business-like portrait shots. This is how it turned out:
The lighting was quite simple and clean. I used a gridded softbox to prevent light from falling onto the white backdrop. Here’s a lighting diagram for you:
I placed one white reflector screen on one side of Peter and a gridded softbox to the other side of him. The light coming from the softbox is bouncing straight into the reflector but because there’s a grid it didn’t leak much light on the backdrop which turns the white backdrop into a nice natural & even grey.
Happy Friday everyone!
